One of the things I teach in my Cricut classes is about Glyphs. So I thought it would be be nice to share some information about it to the rest of you.
What are Glyphs? They are an extension to fonts. They decorate a font to make it pretty. Here are some examples:

All computers have a character map, where you can find the glyphs, however for me they are too small, so years ago I found something called the character map UWP, available on both Windows (https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9wzdncrdxf41?hl=en-US&gl=US) & Apple (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ultra-character-map/id520265986?mt=12).
Once downloaded onto your computer, you'll see all the fonts downloaded onto your computer in alphabetical order & you'll see the glyphs connected to that font when you scroll down.

The 2 main things you usually want to do other than looking through the glyphs is Save Font File As & Copy. Look below:

You can always copy a font from your windows explore file, however if you don't know where to find it, you can save the font file right from here & save it to any folder you'd like.
Where would you use the saved font files? You can upload fonts on creative fabrica's FontCloud or you can upload to Canva.com, if you have Canva Pro.
The copy feature would be used for you to copy the glyph from the Character Map to DS/ Canva or any other platform that you need to paste the glyph to.
Take a look at the video below.
We hope you enjoyed this quick tutorial & learned more about glyphs with fonts.
Where can you find Fonts with Glyphs? Creative fabrica, Font Bundles, DaFont.com. If you are having difficulties finding fonts with glyphs, feel free to join one of our classes & you will get access to our VIP Lounge where we will add new fonts 2x a month & most will be glyph related fonts.
